OpenAI releases a joystick for AI

OpenAI teamed up with a hardware company called Work Louder to build the Codex Micro. This is a small physical controller that acts like a joystick for your computer. It is designed to change how developers interact with AI agents.
Instead of typing out commands on a keyboard, you can use the joystick and buttons to trigger actions. The goal is to make managing AI tasks feel more like using a specialized tool. It sits right next to your computer and connects via USB.
This device is a prototype for now. It shows that OpenAI wants to move beyond simple text boxes. We might see more physical hardware designed specifically for controlling AI in the near future.
